I am the Managing Director and owner of We Care Recruitment Solutions I started my recruitment career in social care as a trainee consultant in 2008 for a large international recruitment agency. I then progressed through the ranks to successfully managing my own team then moved to another agency to set up the Social care division. After a number of years, I decided to use my skillset and experience to set up my own recruitment agency, knowing that being successful in recruitment was about a lot more than simply sending a CV to a job.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and have recently taken up roller-skating.
I have been with We Care since December 2018 and in that time, I have progressed from the role of Recruitment Resourcer to Recruitment Lead. In addition to overseeing and supporting our recruitment team members, I look after our local authority vacancies and work with both qualified and non-qualified sectors. I provide candidates across a broad range of roles, including qualified social work, youth and family work, occupational therapy and health professionals, registered nurses, mental health and learning disability support work, and administration and human resources roles.
In my spare time I have and equally broad range of interests and enjoy music, reading, needle and textile work and I dabble a little in writing. I am a certified personal trainer and life coach and have a passion for helping others to succeed.
Senior Recruitment Consultant and Trainer
I’m Jade, a Senior Recruitment Consultant here at We Care Recruitment. I started with We Care in March 2019 as a Recruitment Consultant, supporting various services across the Northeast including Mental health, learning disabilities, childrens homes, adult supported living and more. In 2020 I was lucky enough to have been put through my training to become a trainer and I am now qualified to train First Aid and Moving & Handling to our staff members.
Outside of work I enjoy trips to the lake district and visiting new places both inside and outside of the UK. I also love a bottomless brunch with friends.
Recruitment Resourcer Consultant
I have worked with We Care Recruitment since May 2021. I first started as an Administrative Assistant on a six-month contract through the government-funded Kickstart Scheme, where I had the opportunity to work with a local employer to grow my skills and experience. At the end of my six-month contract, I was kept on and have moved up to become a Recruitment Resourcer, a job that I thoroughly enjoy as I am supported by my team, I can further develop the skills that I already have, and I am learning new things every day.
In my job, I support clients around the North East by providing high quality candidates across a broad range of roles, and I ensure to the best of my ability that candidates are working in roles that suit them and leave them feeling satisfied.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, cross-stitching (a hobby I took up during lock-down) and creative writing.
Senior Compliance Officer
I have worked for We Care Recruitment since July 2018 and I am the Senior Compliance Officer for the team. My role is to ensure that all new support staff are fully compliant prior to being given work and keep their files up to date for training and DBS compliance. In my spare time I am an avid reader and love nothing more than a quiet few hour to get lost in a good thriller. I spend a lot of time outdoors walking and exploring new areas of the UK with my partner and we enjoy a day out to the races.
I have worked for We Care Recruitment since August 2021. Since joining I have progressed quickly, learning many new skills and improving upon my previous skills. I do a lot of candidate resourcing for the recruitment team and help out the consultants where I can with shift cover and rotas, as well as working with the compliance manager on personnel files. I am currently completing my Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship and am very excited to see what the future holds. I like to spend my spare time with family and friends, and my favourite thing to do is to adventure on big walks, especially to new areas.
I started working within Recruitment in 2018 as a Business Admin Apprentice with a recruitment agency based in the Northeast. In March 2021, I joined We Care as a Package Co-Ordinator. Having already had knowledge and experience I settled in well. When I first joined, I was halfway through completing my NVQ Level 3, which I have now completed with the support of my team! We care have helped me widen my knowledge, skillset and have recently given me the opportunity to progress my role in the Finance Department as a Finance Assistant! Outside of work you will find me spending time with my family, binge watching a new series or online shopping!
I’m Louise, Finance Manager at We Care. I’ve been with the company since September 2019, where I started as an Accounts Assistant.
My role is overseeing the payroll and end to end finance operation of the company, which keeps me on my toes.
Most of my finance experience has been with the construction industry. This is my first role within the Health & Social Care sector, and I love it.
Whatever spare time I get, you will find me running around after my family & dog but wouldn’t have it any other way.
